After bagels and coffee yesterday morning we drove out of the panera parking lot and turned to go home through some back streets where there is an undeveloped area with a small pond. In the pond were two perfect white herons - like the one in front on this picture. They were absolutely georgous, standing together with their entire reflections in the water perfectly aligned. It was almost surreal and one of those moments you always remember and wonder why your camera is home on a shelf.
