The Perfect Week-End

Everything we did this Thanksversary worked out perfectly. I could not have planned anything more perfect. My husband is just the best ever. . I am so spoiled...I am still just speechless. I have the perfect roses, we had the perfect dinner, we went to a play that was wonderful and I have a beautiful diamond ring that one only dreams of.

Once you have eaten several books, part of the carpet, toys and rocks and bottle caps and anything else that your people now keep you clear of...what is left to eat...the couch perhaps? Maddy Alice looks like such a sweet little innocent puppy. She is lucky to have found us. We are probably some of the very few people in the world who feel lucky to have found her too. A nice warm snuggle, a lick, big brown eyes that used to be afraid that are now steady and happy and full of mischief. What can you do? Buy bigger bottles of super yuck and go couch shopping I guess.

What you do when you have a dog that has a real taste for fiction. There have been times when I have wanted to devour a book...but not like Maddy. She ate 7 hardcover books before we put up our book fence sprayed with super yuck. She seems to have lost her taste for literature now.

Rock Dog

Maddy Alice probably has more toys than most children. She gets new toys on a regular basis and our entire back yard is littered with them. In addition she and her sister get several treats a day and Ms. Maddy also gets a pig ear a day to help curb her need to chew up things like the carpet and the furniture and hardcover books. What has she decided now to dig up in the back yard and bring in the house to play....rocks...go figure.
